Pluto invading your personal space: Pluto conjunct IC (also known as Pluto opposite MC) transit

It takes Pluto 248 years to pass through all twelve signs, therefore, many people are spared from having to bear this transit and the near or even inevitable mental breakdown that is often known to accompany it. This is a wild, long and curative transit to write home about, which you absolutely should, since it’ll drastically reform the lives of both you AND your family.

When Pluto crosses the Imum Coeli, a complete renewal of your psychological habits, patterns, and inner consciousness occurs. Who you operate as by result of your upbringing and family undergoes a chaotic and disturbing path to re-birth. Your upbringing shapes your psychological development; this transit comes around to highlight and make obvious any poisonous effects it may have had on you, so that you can find the remedy and live robustly and genuinely to who you are.

There are many factors involved that indicate what specific kind of time you’ll have when Pluto meets your IC. [1] Regardless of the distinct context in which it plays out for you, the following can likely be expected to crop up at some point during this transit:

  • Feelings of deep-seated guilt come to the surface and overstay inconveniently.

  • You enter into a situation in which you re-experience your childhood, and you get re-traumatized.

  • Issues with siblings surface (at the beginning of the transit).

  • You’re able to identify your triggers and where they come from.

  • You learn the real values and motives of your parents and/or close family members, for better or worse.

  • You realize the limits of your mental and emotional capacities.

  • You identify the roots of some of your more difficult characteristics, and you give great consideration to which ones should stay and which should go.

The goal of Pluto is to authenticate. It has no patience for the cordial yet trivial games that we like to play here on Earth. It takes whatever it touches and forces it to journey ruggedly through the underworld. Once something’s been on that journey, it’s reached the point of no return. The native sheds antiquated skin and is now more closely connected with their soul’s purpose. Pluto conjuncting the IC is not a time to resist change, but to let the cosmic clean out and darkness bring you closer to yourself.

This post has nothing to do with Krystal Jung. I'm just paying homage to an unparalleled Plutonian queen.

[1] The zodiac signs on your MC and IC, other natal planets in aspect to transiting Pluto, simultaneous transits and progressions taking place, and the stage of life you’re in at the time that Pluto seemingly invades the personal space of your IC are just some examples. Additionally, the transits and progressions of your family members may also be a factor, as our astrological journeys often work in synastry.
