Park Jihyo's 2019 Transit Analysis

On a monthly basis, every person on earth experiences the moon forming a conjunction to their natal midheaven. When it happens, one experiences active emotions and feelings of empathy that become difficult to hide, especially in public.

For Park Jihyo, this lunar conjunction isn't that simple. Within the same two to three days of its occurrence, the moon also makes a sweeping monthly opposition to six of her natal planets.

As it speedily glares at each planet respectively from 180° away, different issues and feelings surface: over-analysis that leads to sorrow (Mercury), a desperate need to fill a void (Venus), intense emotional sensitivity leading to misunderstandings (Neptune), a lack of self-control and unwanted attention (Jupiter), mood swings and a need to break free from constraints (Uranus) and a disposition that's strongly affected by the feelings and actions of others (Sun).

The monthly movement of the moon to all the planets in her third and fourth houses dredges up feelings and instigates problems with communication, family, her home, and her unresolved childhood trauma.

This monthly moon sweep happened to take place between March 16th and 18th, 2019. This time, however, would have been extra intensely difficult for her. Numerous other highly burdensome and exact aspects were occurring at the very same time.

She was enduring a social catastrophe of sorts. Problems in her love life became unbearably frustrating. She struggled to maintain something incredibly dear to her, something she worked very hard to obtain. She would have felt like she was re-living deeply rooted trauma as well as the lessons that came with it. A karmic deja vu was taking place [North Node opposite natal Venus (conjunct IC 5°)]. The lessons she did not manage to learn in the past were repeating themselves. Past grief having to do with her ability to take control of her day-to-day and provide herself with the regular care and attention she needed to heal was re-surfacing. This was a point of karmic culmination (Chiron conjunct natal Saturn in 6H in Aries, -3°).

Rushes of anger and emotion would have been a regular occurrence, but she was at a loss in terms of how to express it all. One thing is for sure, she definitely didn't care much about what certain people thought and felt. Jihyo went through a real IDGAF phase when it came to her public image and career. She went through the motions, but had little if any desire to hide her true feelings from the public (Lilith opposite Lilith in 10H in Leo). At the same time, any kind of tactless criticism or even careless communication from or to her would have had quite long term effects, exacerbating her already existing depression (Saturn conjunct natal Mercury in 3H in Capricorn).

The energy of Uranus descending was still very much present, indicating that at the very least, she'd just entered a period of instability in her more intimate and individual relationships. People would have entered her life now seemingly just to destabilize it.

There was a silver lining over those few particular days in March, during which she had given it her all in maintaining inner equilibrium; by not hiding her loving nature, she garnered support from many, near and far (Sun sextile Natal Venus) during such a trying and upsetting period.

Jihyo explained why 2019 was beyond an arduous year for her, and she appeased many a heart by offering a response to the question of why she experienced an intense flow of emotions at Gimpo airport on March 18th, 2019. Astrological transits to her natal chart at the time deeply support her forthright clarification.
